Welcome to our new weekly blog where we showcase 7 of the best things from the internet.

We thought during this tough and stressful time, we all need a bit of a giggle and something to make us feel good. Here are our top picks from this week.

1. Important Messages

This week has seen some extremely important messages from the Government but also from some famous faces. Remember, don’t go to the Winchester, stay calm and wash your hands.

2. Cats vs Dogs

Monday was National Puppy Day and Twitter did not disappoint, so many people shared the cutest pictures of their teeny woofers. It’s the virtual cuddle we all need right now. However, we know not everyone loves dogs so to even things out we’ve also found a stream of cats too.

3. Freedom for Penguins

Continuing the animal theme, this is a joyous story. With aquariums closed, penguins have been allowed to roam free and watching Edward and Annie explore is just a lovely way to spend five minutes.

4. Chester Zoo Live Stream

Today Chester Zoo has been live-streaming the animals all day and the keepers have been doing an amazing job giving us all fun facts and information.

5. Quarantine Activities

This twitter thread is genius and really shows that ingenuity is a product of boredom. @DavidChrismas’ Marble Run is one of our favourites but you can’t beat sock pac man!

6. Keeping Active with Oti Mabuse & Marius Lepure

While everybody has been tuning into Joe Wick’s PE lessons, we’ve been trying something a little bit different! Oti Mabuse and Marius Lepure have been live-streaming dance classes, they’re mostly for children but that’s not stopped us! It’s been a great way to keep active and brings tonnes of laughs with it. Oti and Marius create fun themes, there’s great music and it’s easy – so why not give it a go.

7. Taskmaster

We love Taskmaster on Dave and now we’re thrilled that we can have a go at home! There have been some brilliant entries so far, so have a watch through the YouTube channel. If you want to take part, the best place to keep up to date is on their Twitter page @taskmaster.
