Tarn & Fell Escapes
Tarn & Fell Escapes is a new business looking to break into the lucrative Lake District holiday rental sector. Initially launching with a handful of properties, managed via the SuperControl booking platform, they were looking for a flexible solution that allows the business to grow organically.
They came to us to help them create a market-leading digital experience. This included creating an online visual identity that will establish Tarn & Fell Escapes as the breakthrough industry leader; designing and building a 100% custom website that integrates UX best practices; integrating Wombat Creative’s powerful SuperControl system to create an immersive booking experience for the user and developing the website in a way that will allow for organic business growth, scaling seamlessly with flexibility as the Tarn & Fell Escapes portfolio and business develops.
StayCotswold is a specialist luxury holiday cottage provider based in the Cotswolds, straddling the stunning counties of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. The company provides a range of high-quality accommodation from cosy cottages for two to large homes able to accommodate thirty-plus guests in comfort.
StayCotswold’s needs were complex with various user groups to keep happy. The front end needed to provide; a quick search functionality for many properties, simple availability calendars, easy-to-use checkout, contact forms for both guests and owners, blog functionality and dynamic location and collections pages.
It also had to be easy to use in the backend with features such as; SuperControl integration, user-friendly CMS, GDPR compliance, booking log and SEO platform.Visit Website

Lakes Cottages and Lodges are a newly formed independent holiday rental company based in Windermere. Whilst the company may be new, its staff have years of experience in the industry and know the Lake District inside and out. Their ethos is simple – make sure their customers, whether guests or owners, get the best possible experience and customer service.

Tyg Tickets are positioned in the market as a SAS (Software as a Service) business at a corporate level. They have created a robust piece of software that provides clients with an easy-to-use, bespoke ticketing system.
Their clients range from small to large businesses across sectors including; Visitor Attractions, Arts & Culture, Seasonal Events & Festivals and Corporate Events.
Tyg needed a stylish new website that would effectively show off their ticketing and POS software features in order to enhance and drive conversions with a seamless user journey. Herdwick Cottages is a family-run holiday cottage rental business offering a range of accommodation across the Cumbrian Lake District and the Yorkshire dales. In addition to cottages, the company also offers guests the choice of lodges, glamping units, static caravans, motorhomes and camper vans.
Their old website served the company well but as the business grew they wanted to provide users with a more streamlined visitor experience. Herdwick wanted to give users a more immersive experience, with fast search and filtering allowing them to find available accommodation. We provided this with our powerful SuperControl integration system which provides a range of property search features.

Hazel Bank is a magnificent Multi Award winning country house hotel set amongst four acres of Britain’s most beautiful countryside in the Borrowdale valley. We worked closely with Cyclewise to understand the main touchpoints of their business; eCommerce, Bike Hire, Repairs & Servicing and Courses & Tuition. These four key areas have very different customer needs and journeys. Our job was to design and develop a website that functions for all.
With a mobile-first approach, we created a sleek, impactful design that is easy to navigate. We developed a custom course booking system, integrated WooCommerce into their CitrusLime EPOS system as well as V12 retail finance so customers can pay on finance.Visit Website
Alpacaly Ever After
2020 Trip Advisor’s Travellers’ Choice, the alpaca-walking social enterprise, had outgrown their old website. Their fast-growing popularity meant that they needed a new website that helped them keep track of bookings. Offering popular alpaca and llama-related experiences and merchandise, they also needed an eCommerce shop.

Upon achieving Michelin Star status, The Cottage in the Wood requested a new website. It needed to reflect the outstanding quality of their food alongside their boutique-style rooms. Featuring sumptuous food shots and enchanting forest freeze-frames, the website provides impact. The Lakes Homecentre
The Lakes Homecentre has been a Wombat client since the very start. Not only have we been developing their website but their social media presence too with a digital marketing strategy.
With thousands of products to offer, the Lakes Homecentre needed an ultra-responsive eCommerce website that would grow with them. From kettles and homeware to barbecues and gardening equipment, their range needed to shine.
